There are many reasons that our clients choose to spray tan, but the fastest growing reason is to minimize the risks associated with UV (and natural) tanning. Did you know that Melanoma is a common and serious skin cancer which, if not treated early, is usually fatal? Having fair skin and a tendency to burn, I am a huge advocate of minimizing my exposure to the sun and using sunscreen on a regular basis. This is one of the primary reasons I opened this business. I’ve seen the devastation that skin cancer can bring. So, not only do I lather myself up with sunscreen but both my son and husband get it as well. I probably get on their nerves about it, but there is no way I am allowing the two most important men in my life to be over-exposed to UV rays.

I take these precautions now but as a teenager it was quite a different story. I wish I could go back in time and share the above video with my teen-self, because had I known the dangers of UV tanning, I would have taken better care of my skin. It is important for people to understand the seriousness of exposure to UV radiation, particularly damage caused during their early years.
